Dental veneers are custom made, thin layers of porcelain cemented over the front of your teeth to change their dimension, color or shape. Veneers are used on teeth with uneven or chipped surfaces, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked. Chair side resin bondings can also be an option. Generally, little or no anesthesia is needed during the tooth preparation. Dental veneers have a longer life expectancy and color stability than chair side resin bonding. Veneers are highly resistant to permanent staining from coffee, tea, smoking, or red wine. 

With our CEREC technology, many porcelain veneer cases can be made and cemented right in our office. Dental veneers are usually irreversible because it`s necessary to remove a small amount of enamel from your teeth to accommodate the veneer. 

Dental veneers can mask undesirable defects, such as teeth darkened by injury or root canal therapy or stained by tetracycline. Dental veneers are ideal for masking discolored bonding on front teeth and are also used to close gaps between front teeth.
