Dr. Bankhead was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and graduated from Catholic High School. After high school, he attended Louisiana State University and then went on to Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (LSUSD), where he was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for Dental Excellence, as well as many other awards. After graduation in 1990, Dr. Bankhead joined the practice of Dr. Donald Perrere, which opened in 1965. In 1993, Dr. Bankhead took over the practice and in 1995 relocated to our current location on Historic Highland Road.
Dan and his wife, Tiffany, have a blended family and are parents to 4 children, William, Elizabeth, Katherine and Colin. While they currently reside in Baton Rouge, they spend much of their time on their farm in the Felicianas. In his free time, Dr. Bankhead is an avid outdoorsman and beekeeper.
Dr. Bankhead is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association.
Dr. Nicholas J. Rauber was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from Jesuit High School. After high school, he attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge earning a bachelor’s degree in Zoology, as well as a minor in Chemistry. He continued his education at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (LSUSD) where he was awarded the Pierre Fauchard and Grace Voigt Scholarships for outstanding academic achievement and greatest potential as a dental professional. During his senior year, he also served as president of SGA for LSUSD. After earning his DDS in 2007, he went into partnership with Dr. Daniel Bankhead.
Staying very active in the community, Dr. Rauber is involved with many charitable organizations. In 1997, he started Swollfest Fishing Rodeo, which has become a premier charitable fishing tournament benefiting the Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, as well as many other nonprofit organizations. Swollfest has raised more than $1,300,000 and helped many differently-abled children and armed service veterans get into the outdoors.
In 2009, Dr. Rauber was named Baton Rouge’s Business Report’s Top 40 under 40 and, the same year, served as president of Baton Rouge Dental Association.
Dr. Rauber has two children and is married to Samantha. As a family, they spend most of their time tending to their small farm and enjoying all the outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, hiking, gardening, and anything adventurous.
Dr. Rauber is a gratis faculty member and preceptor for LSUSD. He serves on the Board of Admissions and Alumni Association Board of Directors for LSUSD. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association.
Dana is a 1990 graduate of Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has worked at BR Dentistry since 2002, in addition to 11 years of experience in a periodontal practice after graduation. Dana was a practicing hygienist for 30 years and recently retired her license following her stroke in 2020. Dana grew up and currently lives in Baton Rouge. She enjoys reading, traveling, photography and volunteering with Swollfest Fishing Rodeo. Dana loves spending her free time with family and friends.
Tori is a 2006 graduate of Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has worked at BR Dentistry since 2008. Tori grew up and currently resides in Baton Rouge with her family. She and her husband, Reynolds, welcomed their first son, Crews in 2018; their second, Hayes in 2019 and third, Brooks in 2022. In her spare time, Tori enjoys neighborhood walks with her family, traveling, gardening, tailgating and attending LSU football games.
Lana is a 1997 graduate of Louisiana State University and a 2000 graduate of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry with degrees in General Studies and Dental Hygiene. Lana was raised in Oberlin, LA, but currently lives in Baton Rouge with her husband Sean and their three children-Keegan, Finley and Miles. Lana enjoys being an unpaid Uber driver for her kids, exercising, traveling and reading.
Julie is a 1983 graduate of Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has worked at BR Dentistry since 2022 and is originally from Kentwood, LA. Since graduation, her career has been in Baton Rouge, except for 3 years in the early 1990s that she spent practicing in Anchorage, AK. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, visiting with friends and is a longtime fan of the New Orleans Saints!
Terri has worked at BR Dentistry since 1995 and recently celebrated her 27th Anniversary with us! Originally from West Monroe, LA, Terri moved to Baton Rouge in 1989. She and her husband, Tad, have been married since 1991 and they have a sweet, four-legged baby named Sadie. In her free time, Terri enjoys working in her yard and flower beds; and walking her dog.
Mary has worked for BR Dentistry since 2013. She is a 2007 graduate of LSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and holds a paralegal license. Originally from Orlando, Florida, she now resides in Baton Rouge with her husband, Andrew Olinde, Jr.; their two children, Brooke and Drew; and Labrador Retriever, Charge. Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing golf, and spending time at the beach.
Brogan joined BR Dentistry in 2020. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders. She recently moved to Baton Rouge from St. Petersburg, Florida. Brogan and her husband, Ryan, were married in January 2022. She enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, and traveling.
Jane has worked at BR Dentistry since 2001. She began her career here as a dental assistant and transitioned to the front office in 2013. Jane and her husband, Butch, have been married since 1980 and have lived in the community of Central, LA for over 25 years. They have 2 daughters, Kristen and Katie, and 4 grandchildren. In her free time, Jane enjoys traveling; exercising; going out to dinner with neighbors and friends; and spending time with her grandchildren.
Tricia is a 2007 graduate of Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development, and a minor in Business. Tricia joined the BR Dentistry team in 2010 and has been in the dental field since 2003.
With a passion for philanthropy and giving back, Tricia is proud to serve as Executive Director of Swollfest Fishing Rodeo, a charity fishing tournament that recently donated $500,000 to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital; as well as serving on the Board of Directors for Behind the Line BR, a non-profit organization comprised of spouses and family members of first responders, supporting other first responders and their families in the Baton Rouge area.
In her free time, she is also an active member of ministry at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a volunteer at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School. Tricia enjoys cooking, crafting, traveling and filling her home with good food and the great company of family and friends. She and her husband, Brandon, reside in Baton Rouge with their sons, Reed and Blake; and 2 rescue dogs, Sam and Bella.
